I’m hobbling into the office. I can’t wait to get this cast off.
While I’m laid up, I’m trying to do more reading than I normally do. Right now, I’m halfway through Lisa Kleypas’s SUGAR DADDY. I really like her writing. I must read more as I do enjoy it. It’s just that I never sit still long enough to invest the time. There’s always something that needs to be done at my house (or so I think it does–my husband begs to differ.)
What are some of your favorite books? All About Romance is hosting a poll right now on the top 100 favorite books by readers. You should check it out. I’m looking forward to seeing who comes out on top and I’m going to definitely check out their books.

Ooh, love this question.
SEP – Kiss An Angel
Linda Howard – Sarah’s Child
Linda Howard – Mackenzie’s Mtn.
Stef Ann Holm – Pink Moon
V. L. Thompson – The Nerd Who Loved Me
Catherine Anderson – Phantom Waltz
SEP – Match Me If You Can
Barbara Delinsky – Three Wishes
Sent you an email under my other email. I didn’t realize until I read your blog that you too are in a cast. If you feel like me, someone can give me a saw and I’d like to saw it off and throw it at the wall. I told my husband so more than once. I pray for a quick recovery for you. How long do they say?
You asked about favorite Authors. I am so thankful to Mae Nunn who sent me four books to read while I was laid up. Two were hers and two were Linda Goodnight’s. I really enjoyed Mae’s “Mom in the Middle” and “Amazing Love”. I just finished Linda Goodnight’s “A Speical Delivery” – a must read.
I am a fan of Janette Oke books.
Jane,
Have your husband rent you all the DVD’s in Jeanette Oake’s series with “Love” in them. We’ve enjoyed them all. The acting is quite good. We were just at the Christian Bookstore and the latest installment isn’t on DVD yet, but it had been played on the Hallmark Channel.
Some of my favorites, in no particular order, are…
Black Silk by Judith Ivory
A Rose in Winter by Kathleen Woodiwiss
Girls’ Night by Stef Ann Holm
See Jane Score by Rachel Gibson
Stef Ann, I loved your newest book as well. You have a real gift for making your characters truly connect to the reader. I’m looking forward to your next book.
I miss Judy Ivory. I don’t know what happened to her. She wrote such fabulous stories.
