oh Stef i have been through this surgery and i put mine off for way to long. It is the worst surgery i have ever had but i havent had anything really major done before. Do your physical therapy no matter that it seems like a form of "spy torture" and at times will make you want to tell where your grandmother hides the family jewels. I am not a very patience patient either but hang in there. After about 18 months i could finally put my arm behind my back. This is also another form of torture that the p.t's must find humorous. Keep good thoughts and yes you will survive this. If i can do it, anyone can cause i am a big baby when it comes to pain, especially My pain.

Thanks Nancy and Loretta,

Oddly, the pain has increased ten-fold a week after the surgery. My arm is purple and yellow. I hope it feels better soon. I'm not a very good patient. I have no patience!

Hi Stef Ann,
oh man, that sounds bad. Hope the pain is more tolerable now, and that you will be feeling like new very soon.
