It is the worst surgery i have ever had but i havent had anything really major done before. Do your physical therapy no matter that it seems like a form of "spy torture" and at times will make you want to tell where your grandmother hides the family jewels. I am not a very patience patient either but hang in there. After about 18 months i could finally put my arm behind my back. This is also another form of torture that the p.t's must find humorous. Keep good thoughts and yes you will survive this. A client of mine had that same surgery this last year and said it is really common in women our age (wonder why??) but... GET REST so you can get that typing arm back to the books!!
