It took about 3 weeks exactly to finally feel better. That was the sickest I think I can recall ever being. Hawaii was fabulous and I enjoyed the different feel of Kona! Glad you could enjoy your celebration tho.I visited the big island with my late husband . We island hopped and this one was his favorite. One of the higlights of our trip was watching a man fish with a butterfly net. Alos my husband sat and talked with one of the descendents of King Kamama (sp?). She was very elderly but had many fabulous tales to share. Glad you could also enjoy so much even tho you ended up ill. Can't wait for your next book. Don't laugh but I enjoy reading your books over and over, and have all of them.Thank you for the many hours of enjoyment.You are one of my favorite authors. Now just take care of yourself and get cpompletely over that nasty strep. Hopefully you are much much bertter now . Sounds like so much fun and a very romantic way to spend your anniversary. I was in Hawaii back in '81 but unfortunately at that time too young to really be able to afford to see the islands like you two did this trip. Thanks for the virtual vacation!! Glad to hear you're starting to get back to 100%. Strep is a nasty thing once you get it... I had it repeatedly for many years but (knock on wood) haven't seem hide nor hair of it in many many years now. Baby yourself (although you don't really sound like the type) when you get sick or it may come out of hidding. (ohhhhh aren't I just the positive little patty this morning... nevermind all that...)
