To Retire or To Write . . . That is the question . . . . 

I’ve been writing romance novels since 1987 and have been fortunate enough to have had twenty-five titles published–usually one book per year.  Aside from my first book (I sold a completed manuscript), all of them were sold on a partial (first three chapters) or a one page idea.  Because of that, I’ve had a deadline to meet for two decades. Good-bye Captain Phil . . . Many years ago, I started watching The Deadliest Catch and was hooked.  I got to know the captains of the Alaska crab fishing fleet, and had some of my favorites.  Captain Phil was one of them.  I wish he’d quit smoking . . .
